With the start of a New Year comes the ever closing pull out date for our boys and girls stationed in Afghanistan, something that brings us great joy. Give or take a year, Raider has been established as a troops’ favourite throughout the Afghanistan conflict; with thousands of copies going out to our boys and girls during the height of combat operations in the country, and we’ve covered both the highs of the Afghan conflict – The impact they’ve all made to the Afghani natives, the bonds created between our own troops and other NATO allies, ousting the Taliban and picking apart Al-Qaeda and the lows – Those who made the ultimate sacrifice, the lives lost of some of the bravest men and women you’ll ever have the pleasure to meet. But enough about the coming months and more about what will be happening this month! We’ve had a little bit of a chop and change this month, trying to bring you a gear bumper issue.
