GrainCorp’s Project Regeneration
Australia’s dominant east coast marketer, GrainCorp, has announced that it will invest $200 million over three years to enhance the efficiency of its country grain network, under its Project Regeneration initiative. John Hoyle reports.

Sydney Trains Refurbishments
Since the split of former CityRail services into Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink, the reorganisation of the rolling stock fleet and a more proactive focus on customer needs has seen a number of minor to mid-scale refurbishment programs undertaken on some members of the fleet. Gary McDonald takes a look at two recent programs.

Medium Speed Rail
Max Michell, Scott Martin and Philip Laird believe that a bankable High Speed Rail project based on Medium Speed routes or corridors is more likely to proceed than a high-cost Greenfield proposal. They look at how upgrading our major routes to Medium Speed standard could give enormous benefits both in the short and long term.
