MORE than 12,000 people passed through the gates of Iarnród Éireann’s Inchicore Works in Dublin on May 7, to mark its 175th anniversary.
On display was a range of rolling stock, including Northern Ireland Railway’s CAF railcar No. 3005, GM 111 Class No. 8112 Northern Counties, the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland VS Class 4-4-0 No. 85 Merlin and 141 Class diesel No. B141.
