Brenda Sardón, Argentina
Argentina’s two-time Paralympian Brenda Sardón has always been sporty. It runs in the family; her uncle is a former national champion cyclist. Sardón almost raced in Rio as a Para canoeist but her Para rowing debut came in 2019. She grew up in the “small and beautiful” city of Bolívar before moving to La Plata, the capital city of Buenos Aires Province, and is currently studying for a degree in Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Palermo. After a last-minute Paralympic qualification for the PR1 W1x, Sardón placed tenth in Paris.
Congratulation on your second Paralympic Games, the one that almost got away.
