The vibrant colours remind us of tropical fruits, but you could use any shade you prefer. Look in your stash for inspiration!
YOU WILL NEED
■ Any aran cotton yarn in 2 colours
■ A 5mm (US H/8) hook
■ A stitch marker
TENSION
Tension is not critical, but it may affect the yarn quantities required
NOTES
Placemat is worked using the tapestry colourwork method. Change colour on the final yrh of st before colour change is indicated. Carry the unused colour across the top of your sts, enclosing the strand as you work.
