■ Sirdar Happy Cotton (100% cotton, 20g/43m),
3 balls of each: Yarn A Freckle (753), Yarn C
Cookie (777), 1 ball of each: Yarn B Dolly (761),
Yarn D Bubblegum (799)
■ A 3mm (US C/2 or D/3) hook
■ 2 safety eyes, 12mm
■ 1 safety nose, 18mm
■ Toy stuffing
■Black stranded cotton
MEASUREMENTS
Red Panda measures approx 25cm (9 in) tall
NOTES
Parts of these patterns are worked using the amigurumi method. Work your stitches in a continuous spiral without closing off each round with a slip stitch – unless directed otherwise. You may find it helpful to mark the first stitch of the round, moving the marker up as you go. If you are making these toys for a child under 36 months, do not use safety eyes or noses; instead, embroider the eyes and noses with stranded cotton.
TENSION
Tension is not critical for any of these projects, but it may affect the yarn quantities required.
