NOTES Parts of this pattern are worked using the amigurumi method. Work stitches continuously in a spiral without closing off each round with a slip stitch. It may help to use a stitch marker in the first stitch of each round, moving it up as you work. The Moth and Butterfly are worked in the same way using different colours. The first colours given in instructions are for the Moth; the colours in brackets are for the Butterfly. If you are making these for a child under 36 months, do not use safety eyes; instead, embroider eyes using black stranded cotton.
