Insert hook in front loop of next st, insert hook in front loop of next st across, yrh and pull through both sts, yrh and pull through 2 loops on hook LP (loop stitch) Insert hook into next st, wrap working yarn over your index finger, catch the yarn behind your finger and pull it through the stitch leaving a loop of yarn over your finger, remove your index finger and adjust the loop to the desired size (tighten until the loop is about the size of a pencil diameter), yrh and draw through 2 loops on hook htr4tog (Yrh, insert hook in next st, yrh and pull up a loop) 4 times, yrh and draw through 9 loops on hook

NOTES
Pattern is worked in the amigurumi method. Work stitches continuously in a spiral without closing off each round with a slip stitch. It may help to use a stitch marker in the first stitch of each round, moving it up as you work.
