PREPARATION
1
To transfer the pattern, use the window or lightbox method if you are using a pale linen or a thinner fabric. Simply tape the pattern onto a window. Secure your fabric over the design, then trace the outlines using the transfer pen. Once the pattern has been transferred onto the fabric, place it into your hoop. Alternatively if you are using felt or a dark fabric then you can use Sulky - Super Solvy. Stick a 23 x 23cm piece of Sulky over the design; the Sulky is transparent. Then trace the pattern onto the Sulky using the transfer pen. Once the pattern has been drawn out place the Sulky onto your chosen fabric and place both into your hoop. 1 2
