Collision-recording dash cams don’t get much simpler than this diddy Garmin… but it’s hiding some clever features
■ For nosy parkers
Garmin’s Parking Mode Cable kit (£30) can keep your cam juiced without the ignition running. It’ll only record when it detects movement, so shouldn’t flatten the battery, but you’ll need to hook it into your car’s wiring loom.
■ For light sleepers
An optional Cyclops subscription adds alerts for red lights and speed cameras. But be warned: break the limit, or just go near a speed camera, and it will emit an incessant beep that’s shriller than teenage Timberlake.
