APPLE FITNESS+ JUMPS ONTO YOUR iPHONE
You might know Apple Fitness+ as a Watch app, but you’ll soon be able to toss your wearable into the sea and access those workouts from an iPhone. There’ll be on-screen guidance, while calories burnt will be estimated on the Move ring in your phone’s Fitness app. The £9.99/m price stays the same.
AMAZON BEGINS A NEW KINDLE CHAPTER
Its screen may still be the same 6in but Amazon’s latest entry-level Kindle has been upgraded in some key areas. The display is much sharper, up from 167dpi to 300dpi, storage has been doubled to 16GB, and battery life has been boosted to six weeks. You can order one now in black or blue for £85.
GOLDENEYE ANOTHER DAY… ON GAME PASS
Everybody’s favourite N64 game is finally coming to modern consoles… although developer Rare hasn’t said exactly when. It’ll be available on the Switch and remastered in 4K for Xbox, but perhaps best of all it’ll be free for Game Pass subscribers. There’s no news of a PlayStation release.
TWITTER GETS AN EDIT BUTTON
After years of users crying out for it, Twitter has finally started testing an edit button. Amendments will be limited to the first 30 minutes after the tweet in question has been posted, and a history of revisions will be available, so people will still be able to see what the original siad said.
