Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6
Ask AI to come up with the design for a new folding smartphone and the chances are it’d look a lot like the Galaxy Z Fold6. The robot would scour the internet looking for examples to base its creation on and, upon finding last year’s Z Fold5, it would create something thinner and lighter… but Samsung has made some changes to the latest Fold that only a human being with real hands (not weird AI-generated ones) would think of.
Firstly, the 6.3in AMOLED on the front is a touch wider, which should make it feel less lanky, and also means the 7.6in display on the inside has been stretched slightly too. With 120Hz refresh rates, 2600-nit peak brightness and skinnier bezels, these are stonking screens, while the aluminium frame has more squared-off sides and weighs 14g less (but still has nowhere to stash your S Pen).
