LOEWE STELLAR
from £3300 /go.stuff.tv/Stellar
Er, that’s just a normal TV.
That depends entirely on which bit of it you’re looking at. Under most circumstances it’s best to watch the front of your television, not the back, but let’s imagine for a moment that James Corden has just appeared on the screen and his tremendously slappable face is using up a load of the pixels. In this case you’ll have a much better time looking at the ‘wrong’ side of the Stellar. Whether you buy the 42in, 48in, 55in or 65in version, the rear is made of concrete, and the pattern on each one is unique.
That’d be like watching paint dry.
Or concrete, even. It’s still infinitely preferable to anything involving Corden –but in case you prefer to use the TV for its intended purpose, the 4K OLED panel employs Micro Lens Array (MLA) tech, which means there’s a layer of microscopic lenses over the top of the pixels. This boosts the light being emitted and increases brightness, which is one area where standard OLED tellies can lag behind QLEDs and QD-OLEDs. It also supports HDR10+ Adaptive, so the picture should be right up there with the best.
