Centre of the spiral race track
Last October issue I described the Game of Cupid, an 18th-century thematic race game based on Goose, the archetype of ‘throw dice, move forwards, enjoy advantages or endure penalties specified on certain squares, oust any player you land on, and win the pool by being the first to get home by an exact throw on the 63rd and last space of a track coiled into a snake-like spiral’.
