Sometimes a game will just have a certain table presence that really catches the attention. Often it’s incredible artwork that draws a player or perhaps it could be some wonderfully detailed miniatures. For Startropolis it’s a bizarre, multi-coloured plastic space station being passed between players, which quickly grows over the course of a game.
Things start off pretty small though. You’re the CEO of an alien corporation that’s investing in the development of a space station. Think Dragon’s Den but with more tentacles. Each turn you purchase a new module to attach to the existing development before choosing where best to build it and make the most cash.
