Welcome
It seems like only five minutes ago that Porsche was revealing its eighth-generation 911 at a glitzy premiere in Los Angeles (pictured above). The 992 arrived in the autumn of 2018 to much fanfare, with Porsche waxing lyrical about the new 911’s styling, a greater focus on tech, and superior build quality.
The 992’s story to date has certainly been interesting. The Covid pandemic and conflicts around the world meant that numbers of early 992s were very low, creating a significant ‘overs’ market even for models such as the Carrera S and 4S. Subsequently, something of an oversupply (witnessed here in the UK market at least) has seen the Turbo S, for example, take a huge tumble in value on the used market over the past 12 months.
