AN EXTREMELY rare Boeing 747-300 is the latest addition to the ever-growing ‘passenger to freighter’ conversion line-up. The vintage jumbo was delivered new to France’s UTA (Union de Transports Aériens) as F-GETA (c/n 23413) in early 1986, before being absorbed into the Air France fleet in 1992, where it enjoyed active service until 2006. In 2007, It was snapped up by Iranian private carrier Mahan Air, where it operated until late 2019.
