American Miniaturist  |  Issue 228
First off, I want to send out a big thank you to our loyal tutorial contributors over the past year. They put their heart into their tutorials so that AM readers can have fun creating and learning new skills. Also I am happy to have some new tutorial artists in this issue who are excited to join the American Miniaturist family!
The feature articles in this issue are just as inspiring. A big thank you to Megan Kelly Rogers for sharing her stunning dollhouse with us before she had even completed all the rooms. Jacqueline Mitchell from Australia is full of life and her festive barbecue scene proves it! Julie Parrott’s cats...me-WOW! Sylvia de Groot shows us that there is outstanding beauty in distressed mini scenes. Martha Bates reminds us to always give display cases a second look for room box possibilities and Peggy Zorn shows the world how generous miniaturists are.
Summer is here and there is no better way to beat the heat than flipping through the pages of AM in the cool AC or on the front porch with a cold glass of iced tea. If you have tutorials you would like to share please email me. We are always in need of creative ideas and regular contributors. Have fun looking through this wonderful issue of AM. May it inspire you to make something beautiful!
