Yet researchers have found that 45 minutes of creative activity significantly lessens stress in the body, according to a study published in Art Therapy: Journal of the American Art Therapy Association. And it doesn’t matter what your creative outlet of choice is – the point is to sit and let your imagination run wild to find release from whatever has caused you anxiety throughout the day.
