Hello, and welcome to the first issue of Bow International in 2018! We hope you have had a great Christmas and New Year, and are looking forward to another twelve months of shooting arrows. The beginning of the year has always been time to look back and take stock, and then look ahead and make resolutions. Whether that’s in your career, personal life, or archery, it’s a time for working out what you want to do or achieve this year, setting goals and then planning for them. Here at Bow International we’ve literally been aiming to give you a helping hand with that on the archery front, with articles in this issue on evaluating your previous year, setting goals, planning a season – plus a look at what some good archery new year’s resolutions might entail, and how to incorporate any new kit you got for Christmas into your setup without finding your scores sliding downhill.
