Mystery over Keil Hotel sale SECRECY surrounds the sale of the ‘white elephant’ hotel on the tip of the Mull of Kintyre.

The Keil Hotel, at Southend, has finally been sold to a company in Luton after lying empty for more than a year.

It is not known if Hudson Estates Ltd, the new owner of the hotel, paid the full asking price of £105,000 for the 26-bedroom property.
