Donate some festive Majik this Christmas

INDEPENDENT charity Home-Start MAJIK are appealing for volunteers this holiday season to join their team and bring joy to the area. The organisation, who provide support and friendship for families with at least one child under five, are seeking home-visiting volunteers this winter. Home-start believe that children need a happy and secure childhood and that parents play a key role in helping children reach their potential. With no rule book on parenting, families often need someone to turn to for support and guidance and through home-visiting volunteers, Home-Start offer friendly and practical support. Volunteers are all parents themselves and are able to provide emotional and practical help to other parents in need of a helping hand. The charity serves Mid-Argyll, Jura, Islay, Kintyre, Cowal and Bute.
