Generate higher-quality images
Microsoft has upgraded the AI model Copilot uses to generate images, to produce higher-quality results. It now uses the same GPT-4o model as ChatGPT, rather than the older and more limited Dall-E.
This means you can create more photo-realistic pictures of humans, with “richer detail and composition”. Text is rendered more accurately and readably, and Copilot can handle more complex instructions.
As with ChatGPT, you can now ask Copilot to apply a particular artistic style ( 1 in our screenshot below) to an image you upload 2 , and edit its content. It has a more generous (though unspecified) daily limit for image generation than ChatGPT’s three.
