FlyPast Magazine November 2016 Back Issue

The November issue of FlyPast features a special section dedicated to Britain’s famous V-bombers, the Avro Vulcan, Handley Page Victor and Vickers Valiant. Between them this trio of aircraft made up Britain’s nuclear deterrent during the Cold War. We bring you exclusive articles, images and memories of these well known jets. Our cover star is Vulcan B.2 XM655, which is based at Wellesbourne in Warwickshire.

Our in-depth Spotlight section focuses on the Yakovlev Yak-9, a Soviet fighter that was hugely influential in the outcome of the war in the East. We include exclusive artwork, rarely seen images and an account of a top Russian ace.
