After a sensational trip to Wivenhoe, Mark planned a trip to Moogerah Dam about a 90-minute drive south from his place. We were fishing in late September and heading into summer, which is a great time to target bass. Chris Errity explains. The air is still with the mixed scents of the Aussie bush filling my nostrils as I walk the riverbanks with gum leaves crunching under foot. The East Australian escarpment is as unique as it gets, flat tablelands and inland flowing waters to the west and magnificent gorges nestled amongst subtropical and eucalypt forests to the east.
