che a pag. 54 riporta l’esito degli studi che i ricercatori del Max Planck Institute stanno effettuando sui bonobo, scimmie che il fiume Congo ha diviso dagli scimpanzé e che hanno sviluppato caratteristiche fisiche, ma
soprattutto sociali, totalmente diverse dai loro cugini. Un vero e proprio
laboratorio dell’evoluzionismo, che rende bene l’idea dei tempi (5
anni solo per abituare i bonobo alla presenza umana) e dei disagi che
la scienza deve affrontare per poter dare risposte serie e attendibili –
“scientifiche”, in una parola – alle molte domande che si pone l’umanità.
