As these words were committed to
print ‘summer’ finally seems to be
upon us here in my home office in
Derbyshire. There’s not a cloud
in the sky and I’m watching distant airliners
landing at East Midlands Airport with my
thoughts turning to a busy flying season.
After a quiet season last year, not helped
by atrocious weather and Olympic airspace
