The Autumn issue of Knitting focuses on all things European and is a celebration of designers, yarn and styles from across the channel. As well as focusing on yarns manufactured and in some cases grown in Europe, we’ve taken inspiration from continental style and knitting traditions. We have 24 stunning knits in a variety of European themes such as Nordic colourwork jumper Valle by Norwegian designer Eline Oftedal; a classically inspired Chanel style jacket Neat and Boxy by Pat Menchini; Lattice hat, mitts and cowl by Pat Strong, the colour changing yarn inspired by a painting by Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser by German sock specialist Opal; and Dreieck shawl by Emma Vining, Dreieck is the German word for triangle and this pretty top-down shawl is adorned with triangle designs and knitted in German brand Schachenmayr’s Regia Silk. If you want to learn more about where these yarns come from, we have a fantastic feature Eurostash where we discover the continental yarnmakers behind the gorgeous knits in this issue. We also have two designer spotlights where you can read all about top designers Melanie Berg from Germany, who has just published her first book and Danish brand DesignEtte’s Camilla Ette Gotfredsen who tells us about her knitting journey and how she got to where she is today. So whether you’re after traditional Scandi design, a contemporary style in Peruvian yarn from a Spanish company or unbeatable German sock yarns, you’ll find them in the Autumn issue of Knitting, out now!

Lots of useful advice

Particularly good for beginners Reviewed 16 July 2019

Brilliant app

I'm a fan of the paper magazine and this app is just as brilliant.
I didn't have any of the problems described in the other reviews ( I've downloaded 2 numbers so far) this maybe just a different version though.
