Making Cards & Papercraft  |  November 2013
Included in this issue are eight craft papers containing the Festive Decadence range, one of Hunkydory’s latest releases! The art deco images are simply beautiful and make wonderful Christmas cards. Emma Williams has created beautiful cards for you to copy, many adding coloured feathers for a sophisticated touch.
It’s all about Christmas throughout this edition and we really have some super projects. Tracy Evans’ Christmas concertina has that added wow factor as has our Designs with a difference project this month, a beautiful display of 3D poinsettias.
Many of you asked for an iris folding project and so due to the popular request we’ve included a special Christmas themed project for you in this edition. Turn to page 84 to see Deborah Willis’ bauble and Christmas tree cards and included templates. For those of you who value the true meaning of Christmas Dee Paramour has created a series of cards depicting silhouettes of the three wise men and using different techniques to create textured backgrounds.
Joanna Sheen also covers the traditional meaning of Christmas in her diary piece this month in which she tells us how she goes about making the many Christmas cards she needs to send!
