Parchment Craft  |  March 2009
With spring around the corner the subject matter of this month’s magazine has a very strong floral influence with a variety of cards featuring colourful spring garden flowers. Evidence of
such vibrancy and effervescence can be seen in Kannikar Sukseree’s Floral Bouquet (p20.)
The first project in the magazine and also this month’s cover feature is an ornate butterfly project, perched upon a pyramid and designed by Amanda Dray. The butterfly opens up to reveal a small souvenir of your choice (p6.)
Mother’s Day is celebrated on 22nd March and to get a head start, there are two cards, firstly from Florence Holmes. Entitled Mother (p10) the card features a spring bloom which is overlapping a vellum insert. The second, Pretty Primroses by Josie Davidson (p36) is another floral
themed card though interchangeable greetings have been provided, suitable for various occasions.
