Parchment Craft  |  May/June 2020
For just a brief moment, now’s the time to put aside problems, worries and the outside world and settle down with this month’s edition, featuring a beautiful collection of projects and cards from your favourite contributors.
One of the themes that we focus on inside this month’s edition is Father’s Day (21st June in UK), and by popular demand Lesley Shore has produced a silhouette card inspired by the many yachts which catch her eye in her local port.
Comprising of six simple steps and created using a minimal amount of tools, Lesley’s nautical themed card may also have you reminiscing (or looking forward to) of summer holidays. Turn to page 9.
If you’re going to a wedding over the next couple of months or so and looking to create a keepsake for the bridge and groom to retain, we’ve got plenty of ideas to inspire, with my favourite card in this issue by Susan Moran on page 18. I love the intricacy of the white work in the floral border and the way in which it has been finished.
