Back in 1993, almost a decade after Marillion drummer Mick Pointer had departed the band he founded after playing on their debut album Script For A Jester’s Tear, the music industry was a long time dead to him. Pointer had been working as a kitchen designer when some Marillion fanzine writers he knew got in touch and told him that Pendragon keyboard player Clive Nolan was interested in forming a new project – could he be persuaded out of retirement to work on some ideas?
