S tinky Toys’ ex manager Dominique Dupuis, has always been an avid prog fan. While his friends listened to Led Zeppelin, he was playing In The Court Of The Crimson King on repeat.
In his latest hardback, he recounts the origins of prog with Procol Harum and Frank Zappa, charts the golden age with Hawkwind and Gentle Giant, and explores the emergence of krautrock via Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream. He also looks at French and Italian artists Area and Magma, as well as Dream Theater and Steven Wilson.
