The 2016 RSL Ondaatje Prize, which is given for a distinguished work of fiction, non-fiction or poetry that evokes a sense of place, has been won by Peter Pomerantsev for Nothing is True and Everything is Possible: The Surreal Heart of the New Russia.
The Bollinger Everyman Wodehouse Prize for Comic Fiction has this year been shared for the first time by two winners: Hannah Rothschild for The Improbability of Love and Paul Murray for The Mark and the Void. Both winners received Gloucester Old Spot pigs, Bollinger Champagne and the complete Everyman Wodehouse collection.
