I’ve been noticing the tensions of life lately and, in particular, the tensions of motherhood. As I navigate this new identity juggling full-time work with full-time mumming (let’s be honest, parenting is round-the-clock care), these tensions are showing up everywhere. I feel myself being pushed and pulled by an invisible thread that strains me one way, then twists and turns me back the other until I am a knotted and frayed mess on the floor. OK, that was a little dramatic, but bear with me, you’ll soon see what I mean.
