Scenic strikes a largely happy ride and handling balance
IN ITS LATEST iteration as an electric SUV, the Renault Scenic seemed like a strong contender to win its category at the 2024 What Car? Awards, or even be in with a shout of taking home our overall Car of the Year title – until we drove a near-finished prototype. Although that example impressed us in many ways, it tripped up when it came to dynamics; specifically, it had an overly firm and unsettled ride. As a result, the Scenic came away from our awards with nothing.
