Motorhome manufacturers like to celebrate anniversaries and this month we’ve got the first road tests of special edition variants from Adria and Rapido. The latter is marking 55 years in business with a very special A-class that’s not only very well suited to the UK market but well priced, too.

The Adria Coral Platinum, meanwhile, takes the Silver Edition spec from last year’s Matrix and mates it to an island bed layout and a stylish all-silver body. It looks the business – as do Hymer’s 60th anniversary models, which we report on from the Stuttgart motorhome show.

Also in Stuttgart, we saw the first motorhome conversions based on Volkswagen’s all-new Crafter van.

And if van conversions are your thing, we also test the classic Auto-Sleeper Warwick XL and the Vantage Eos, with its extra storage capacity.

Then we’ve got an exclusive report on the La Strada Avanti XL, which signals this top-quality German brand returning to the UK. And, going down in size to true campervans, we’ve driven Wellhouse’s Moselle, based on the new Mercedes Vito.

There’s plenty for coachbuilt fans, too, with first tests of the latest dealer special editions from Marquis and Lowdhams, as well as a close look at Pilote’s latest A-class.
