There are more running festivals than you can shake a glow stick at these days. The main benefit of these, often multi-day, events is that you can always find a race to suit you. Get the experience of a marathon without the intensive training, when you enter this event as a team of four. All the atmosphere and fun, but more accessible for less experienced runners. FROME RUNNING FESTIVAL
A 5K, 10K or half around Frome town centre, starting and finishing on the Old Showfield. The courses follow a road-closed, single-loop circuit, with the half heading into the Somerset countryside, past the English Heritage site of Nunney Castle.
