NURVV DISCOVER YOUR TRUE RUNNING POTENTIAL
The latest running tech could make you unstoppable. Let’s go the distance with NURVV Run

Up until 2020, unless you invested in expensive gait analysis in a running lab, all of your running stats will have come from the watch on your wrist. Then along came NURVV Run, an innovative package that includes trackers and sensors on a footbed. Inserting the ultra-thin NURVV insoles into your trainers provides you with analysis of your run from 32 precision sensors placed where it matters most: on your feet. Suddenly, wrist-based analysis began to feel a bit prehistoric.
What does it do?
NURVV Run provides distance, time, pace, splits, heart rate, calories, cadence, step length, footstrike, pronation and balance data aft er each run. We asked Dr Grant Trewartha, head of biomechanics at NURVV running, how the sensors and trackers help the average runner improve. “[When you’re running], it matters what the legs and feet are doing, not what the wrist is doing, so the main benefit of using devices that capture running data from the foot is that they provide specific and in-depth information on your foot-based running mechanics,” he says.
“Another benefit is better accuracy in pace and distance measurement, due to the fusion of top-line GPS data and an advanced inertial navigation system (INS). These devices benefit from accuracy improvements under most conditions but suffer if they fall back on phone-based GPS traces to show route coverage. Watches rely purely on GNSS (GPS) technology, and this means limited accuracy in some environments.” In a nutshell, with NURVV you have worldleading accuracy with every step, giving you bespoke insight into all the metrics of your running.
