Fran Bungay
Fran won eight medals competing for the Great Britain age group team, including two European titles. In 2015, she won three consecutive Ironman 70.3 titles including the European Championship in Weisbaden (40-44) and was world ranked number one in her age group
Despite numerous injuries and a hip replacement, Fran is still aceing it as a triathlete
What’s the hardest race you’ve ever done?
The toughest race in terms of challenging course is probably the Alpe D’huez long-distance triathlon, but as it’s literally on our doorstep in France, I feel the need to keep going back to do it every year. The run part is at the top of the Alpe, and is very undulating, part on road, part off, and tough, but it’s absolutely stunning.
