Hello!
ISSUE 123 || MARCH 2020
These are some of the super powers I would like: invisibility would be nice. Invincibility might be helpful. Flying would be a glorious kick up the arse to my carbon footprint. And I’d also like the ability to remove Sharpie marks from my kitchen table, but that may be a fantasy too far.
So how brilliant was it to discover that I am full to the brim of super powers already, and all because of my running? Running has helped me kick several bad habits to the kerb. And running helps me manage my mental health: heading out to escape for even just 20 minutes gives me a chance to regroup, to go over old ground, or to just leave it be. I return refreshed, invigorated, and ready to take on the world. It’s the most powerful nonpharmaceutical tool we have.
