STRAVA SUPPORTS NHS
Raceless runners continue to fundraise
Strava’s NHS Active challenge showed the power of the running community to pull together, with over £357,000 being raised so far for the National Health Service.
By committing to just 10 minutes of responsible, solo, local activity per day, participants were simply asked to donate £5 to support NHS staff and volunteers. Proud participants then received the exclusive Strava digital finisher’s badge, showing their support for the incredible work of the NHS staff and volunteers who have been working tirelessly to look after coronavirus patients up and down the country.
Going into May, Strava also launched the SOLOdarity challenge (strava.com/challenges/solidarity) to encourage athletes to support one another, exercise responsibly and maintain community spirit - from 11 April to 10 May.
