RACE
We take on some of the most epic races out there, because we want you to do the same!
BRIGHTON
BRIGHTON HALF MARATHON
Esther ran the Brighton Half to figure out if she does, actually, like to be beside the seaside
By Jove it was cold! While the sun shone down on us, at 8.30am, all us assembled runners were desperately huddled together to shelter from the biting wind.
Everything else up until that point was smooth as silk. Brighton Half really takes care of its runners: the organisers had done a great job of keeping us up to date with race day, making sure we remembered everything we needed to remember, and also had an eye on transport which – due to trains being cancelled – could have derailed (bada-bish) a less well-organised event. After my epic journey of car-train-tubetrain-bus-train, I’d arrived in Hove the night before feeling ready to rumble.
