Wrestletalk Magazine Issue 142 Back Issue

English
16 Reviews   •  English   •   Sport (Ring & Combat Sport)
Only £4.99
In this month's edition, we have feature-length articles on:

- The WWE UK championship tournament, as FSM outlines the plans of WWE’s heir apparent, Paul Levesque, and ponders the pros and cons of falling into line with the genre leader
- Mauro Ranallo, as in what some subscribers have described as the finest article in the history of FSM, he explains the depths of his bipolar disorder, and why his goals in life reach far beyond the squared circle
- Meiko Satomura, as ahead of her European debut, FSM examines why she is so revered both in and out of the ring.
- British Wrestling at Wembley Arena, as FSM shows that while the sport’s cultural identity is often linked to Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Arena had the more memorable televised matches.
- FSM also chats to Japanese superstar Kota Ibushi, as the maverick grappler offers advice to the next generation of pro wrestlers.

All of this, plus our usual news, PPV and TV reports, and DVD and videogame reviews. This month's issue also includes Jim Cornette’s explanation of the star-rating system he popularised, and a list of his five-star matches; Rob Naylor discusses the commentary scene in WWE, and notes why even with good friends in prominent positions, pro wrestling announcing will never be
like it was in the 1980s; and Jerry “The King” Lawler pens a column on how the business has changed throughout his career, and why, indeed, it may not be as different as some seem to believe.
