Brentwood Writers’ Circle will be celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2016 and is running a flash fiction competition as part of its celebrations.
The contest is for fiction of exactly 75 words, which may be on any subject. There is a total of £75 in prize money: £40 for the best entry, and £20 and £15 for runners up. All winners will also receive a copy of How to Write Fiction Without the Fuss by Lucy McCarraher.
Send stories in the body of an email or by post, clearly typed, and including all contact details. There is an entry fee of £2 per story, which is payable by PayPal, or cheques made out to Brentwood Writers’ Circle.
