It covers a wide range of homebased crafting and making projects, including baking, knitting, crochet, stitching, jewellery, papercraft and card-making. Making Cards, with Sally Jarvis as managing editor, is the UK’s best-value cardmaking magazine. Each issue is packed full of step-by-step card projects demonstrating a vast array of techniques and beautiful designs that are unique to Making Cards readers. Every issue comes with free quality craft papers and other exclusive gifts such as stamps and stencils. Anyone wishing to contribute should contact the editor though the online contact form in the first instance. She welcomes inspired quality card designs such as those demonstrated in the magazine using the latest techniques and products on the market and submit clear and concise step-by-step written instructions. Knitting magazine, edited by Christine Boggis, is published thirteen times a year by The GMC Group. It’s aimed at knitters with some experience, or who aspire to it, but every issue will feature something for knitters at every level. Each issue includes styleconscious as well as practical knitting projects, with 25 patterns in each issue. Knitting also includes features that interest knitters, including how-to advice, profiles of designers, news and reviews. Christine has a limited freelance budget, and is happy to hear from writers with an excellent knowledge of knitting.
