SMALL PRESS SUBMISSIONS
Small Harbor Publishing
Small Harbor Publishing is a feminist press, ‘committed to diversity and inclusion.’ It publishes the Harbor Review, an online space for poetry and art; Harbor Editions (chapbooks) and Harbor Anthologies (‘texts that explore social justice issues’).
Harbor Editions welcome hybrid collections which combine genres or defies classification as well as genre collections amd will consider books which incorporate art. Chapbooks should be around 20 to 50 pages. Manuscripts should include a title page, table of contents, and a list of acknowledgments for any previously published work, although the team prefer unpublished work. Submit by email.
Harbor Anthologies is open to anthology proposals year round. Email the anthology proposal and note that the editors ‘are primarily interested in publishing anthologies that explore social justice issues.’ They want to promote work that highlights marginalized writers and ‘topics that are current, intersectional, and dynamic.’
