Novelists and editors– are their roles mutually exclusive? It would seem not, because award-winning novelist Belinda McKeon has recently edited a volume of short stories by a wide variety of well-respected authors.

So I was fascinated to learn how a novelist approached this kind of project – I was sure the selection and editing processes must have called for great insight, tact and diplomacy – while concurrently working on fiction of her own.
