Needing a fix
When you sell your first piece of writing something happens that changes you. Instead of being an ordinary person you are on your way to becoming an addict. You want to sell another story, article, poem or book. You need to be placed in another competition. You are setting out on a hard path or a joyous journey, depending on how you look at life and I hope that, like me, you believe the latter.
