Too good to be TRUE
Some lives are too exciting to be credible, Lorraine Mace discovers
Lorraine Mace
Ipreviously mentioned nonwriters who consider their lives so interesting that one day (when they have an hour or two to spare) they will write a book. Usually this never happens, but just recently I have had a spate of people contact my critique service who are actually doing it.
One of them is penning an exciting account of her travels to some of the most inhospitable places in the world in search of rare fossils. She has overcome trials and tribulations I don’t even encounter in nightmares: venomous snake and spider bites, a couple of scorpion stings, nearly drowning in rapids, getting sucked over a waterfall, being mistaken for a voodoo goddess and having to talk her way out of being a sacrificial victim, falling down a mountain and, finally, getting lost in the desert and surviving a sandstorm.
